I have been to this chipotle a few times now. Every time was within the first half hour of them being open. While the decor is a bit odd, it does kind of fall into place with the other chipotles around Orange County. Very clean and kind of cold in a sense where you don't want to stay and hang out much longer after finishing your food. The staff is kind with an exception of one girl who always seems to have that "I hate my job" attitude. But the guys and the older man (who I can only assume is the owner) are very kind. Another yelper mentioned that the food tastes a bit different here than it does at the California chipotles and I have to agree. Still chipotle though. Just happy to have a familiar food spot that isn't fast food while being away from home!

I absolutely love Chipotle! They are in a great location, and have a good view. Service was a little slower, but in all fairness, they recently opened and are learning the ropes.

Poor quality. Steak full of fat and gristle - tough matter in meat that is disgusting to eat. Thought I would give another go just in case the bad connective tissue beef was a fluke - not the case! Could see the steaks on the grill behind the line and they were white and red - mostly white around entire edges and within the red - denoting poor quality steak being used again. I ordered the shredded beef instead of the steak... well, it had fat and gristle in it too! Again, disgusting. No matter how Chipotle wants to tout they serve hormone/antibiotic free meat that is good for you, if the meat you're getting is full of fat and connective tissue, it's not good for you! I used to get pork and beef mixed but they have no supplier of pork... are you kidding? Do you know how many hog farms there are in the US? Chipotle probably just couldn't find one to accept the low price they want to pay! I can tell you that they are buying cheap beef so it would stand to reason. The portions were scant, more so than in the past, even when I asked if they could put a little more corn salsa on it when the staff didn't even put a quarter of a spoonful on the dish.... staff looked at me like I was a pauper trying to get free food - rude. The crew acted like they could care less that I was a paying customer, one who is paying in contribution to their payroll. I won't be back. I intend to advise friends and associates to not go near this location, and possibly others - they may all be going downhill.... Can anyone say 'fad' - seems it's over.

You won't get your money's worth at this poorly managed location. Employees act like they are doing you a favor and the portions are half of what you would expect from any other restraunt in this chain. That's too bad. Chipotle is usually pretty good. Not here... A total fail.

I love Chipotle! We had one back east and when we moved here I missed it SO much. Now I'm happy to say we have one. Love the food. Decor is odd but so is every Chipotle I've ever been to. Friendly staff. Always willing to help. Always confused by my asking for limes though! People, its Mexican food. We NEED limes. :) Love my chipotle.

One of the best vegan-friendly places in Havasu. The sofritas and guacamole are absolutely stunning. The staff is really sweet and the food is simple yet amazing with powerful flavors. The music and decoration add to the beauty of it all.

We stopped here on Sat 06/27 around 3:30pm, on the way home from a week on the Parker Strip. The food is fantastic and the service was superb. We had an overheated puppy with us and the staff was ever gracious in providing us with water and a bowl for her. We definitely appreciated the kindness shown towards our fur-baby. If I could give them 10 stars, I would because this staff truly deserved it!!!!

The sterile gurneys without wheels matches the personalities of the staff. The 'food' was far too expensive & blandly generic. These types of places would never exist without the affluence of the acutely stupid.

Review solely based on horrible human beings working there. Wow. My wife and I went here to grab lunch to go today, May 4, at around 11:30. The place was empty other than a small family dining in. I can honestly say this was above and beyond the worst I've ever been treated by a restaurant since moving here 10 years ago ( which is saying a lot, because the service industry here is a joke). Upon walking in 2 girls were working the counter. One clearly rolled her eyes as we approached the counter. It was clear we were completely ruining her day, because now she had to actually do some work. What a difficult, stressful job it must be working here! Poor thing... Seriously though, the way these two *insert b word here* treated us and rushed us through the line was insulting. We will not be back, and will make sure everyone we know is on the same page as well. As for the food, it's Chipotle. Decent burritos, just not sure why the Southern California dude-bros think it's the end all.

Been to Chipotle a hundred times............. this is probably the most unfriendly Chipotle I have ever been to and the least crowded Chipotle I have ever been to! It was towards the end of the night and the food didn't seem too fresh or hot really. Not a fan of the communal tables. Hopefully it gets better after they are open for a while. I don't expect to ever see lines to the door like is common at my local Chipotle.

Poorly managed...two nights in row we tried to attend approximately 30 minutes before closing-all the chairs are already up on the tables-VERY unwelcoming. Third night, we went 45 minutes before closing and they were starting to clean; lights of the exterior were off. Mind you, this is a Friday night, very busy. We went in anyway and could see the disappointment on the 5, yes five crew members that reluctantly filed behind the counter. Selection was poor with no offer to replenish. We sat down, and became surrounded by chairs on tables. We then went outside and ate on the tailgate of our trucks. We watched no less then 20 cars pull up, look at the tables with chairs upon them and leave. I'd say we caught them at a bad night but I saw this mindset three nights in a row. Very poorly managed.

I was surprised to see that they had a chipotle out here in lake havasu so when it was on my way back to vegas I decided to get something to go....as always truly satisfied with chipotles product especially being located in such a desolate area. We were the first ones in for the day and got nothing but smiles. Will be back here next time I stop into havasu.

Lake Havasu Chipotle: Staff was very inviting & friendly! The food was amazing! Proved excellence as all the Chipotles we have experienced. We love eating healthy, fresh, good tasting food. If you haven't been there....you have been missing out. Enjoy!!!

Might be the worst beef I've ever had at a chipolte's. And I'm a chipolte fan. The beef was tuff and "stitchy". Step it up guys and dont be cheap on the meats. Don't be the first to tarnish your brand.

If your from Southern California.. dont eat at this chipotle. It looks and tastes totally different. The guac alone is a darker green and texture is not the same. Very disappointing. Skip out and go somewhere else.

Quick and easy place for lunch. Eat here quite often and it's good every time. Service was good and food was fast. Would recommend

Chipoltes rules...the steak burrito is one of the best in the Southwest..cool atmosphere and the killer alternative music station and outdoor dining that overlooks Havasu make this place a 10....

Ate here for lunch they were making large order to go so we waited, not busy yet, ordered steak burrito asked for extra sour cream got none, asked for extra cheese got none! Too much salsa not enough beans or meat! Meat was hard to chew, not tender! Asked for no rice so had very skinny burrito! Did not like interior of restaurant, a small box with long tables!

The people were friendly enough but they were out of almost everything. They were out of three kinds of meat, hard taco shells and the wait was ridiculous. There weren't many people in but this location seemed unorganized and poorly managed.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
